the way i see it is if you can afford the part all power to you man, but i like mag30's over lighter singletracks cause i bent about six a year versus maybe one with the other, so it yor not worried about the cost then do whatever you want

deity bars feel horrible

There is no such thing as 'too light' that's the worst shit i've ever heard. But having a no-tube solution is horrible for dj/street from what i've heard. Just dont sacrifice too much strength for weight.

Street and park - good! Dirt Jumping especially when it's windy - not good.

Airing with a super light bike is also tricky!

no tubes rims still require rim strips. and just because you're running a no tubes rim doesn't automatically mean you aren't running tubes. you have to use a whole lot of latex sealant as well as a custom valved rim strip.

ns proof is claimed to be 310g and ns has really accurate claimed weights. my deity 2014 25.4mm clamp (same as the proof) weighs 309g (look in my scale album). so actually, they weigh the same.

also, martin soderstrom's personal majesty weighs 22 pounds and a lot of the parts on it are significantly lighter, especially the cranks, stem, chain, hubs and tires. there's a chance your build weighs about 22-24 pounds.

also, the majesty doesn't even require a seat clamp.

a seat clamp is about .5 of an ounce.
