hey i was wondering if anyone here is entering the race the rance race up ion kamloops, the dh race. how is it im thinking of entering this year? any info i need to know that would help even just about racing in general?

yeah thats what races are....and idk what the times are look it up
and the arrows are for drops and stuff

yeah i just rode the course, way more flowier none of that sketchy log drop or rock garden, it could easily be done on a smaller bike now.

I'm the builder of the course and the general caretaker of the Ranch, as well as one of the race organizers.

Yes, it has a bunch of new work done to it to make it faster and more sustainable. Its in better shape this year because we got lots of rain in the past couple of weeks. I'll be in there over the next week to clean up some stuff.

Next year much of the course (berms) will be rocked in. Didn't have time to do that this year, as we are just taking it over from the city.

I did a couple of times runs the other day and my fastest one was about 2:52. It was timed with a stopwatch so just a guess. Last year the course was much slower. The winning pro time in '08 was 2:50, this year it should be about 2:40.
