I am looking at buying a set of minions for this season and I'm not exactly sure what compound to get. Can anyone help?

Racing? Trails? Looking for longevity?

Super tacky up front for a little extra grip, and the 3C in the back for better rolling. If you're looking for a long lasting tire, definitely get 3C for both as Super Tacky will probably not last more than a full season.

I personally run a SuperTacky rear and SlowReezay front. If you have the money I'd go with 3Cs as they're the best mix of tyres. The SuperTackys will last a while and give you good traction, and the SlowReezays just stick to anything but wear out pretty quickly.

from what I can gather, 3C sounds the best but a bit pricey.

Yup.

60a will last the longest, so I'd put that on the back, and if I were you, I'd go Super Tacky in front.
