Best brakes I have ever used were Saint, they were effortless and kept your hands and forearms feeling fresh. I am using juicys now and they are ok, wished i still had the saint though.

Formula The One. With Saints coming in close second.

keeping DH in mind:
#1-saints: instant power and smooth lever movement

What do you mean? Are quad brakes a brand or a type of brake?

if you want cheap, you can ususally get old closeout sets of Avid Juicy 7's for fairly cheap... pair em up with 8 inch rotors and you'll have a pretty solid setup
