Hi! I have a question. Would Manitou Travis single 150 fit for bullit?? I know it won't be perfect but fine enough?? I'm going to change my frame from giant reign to sc bullit. Thanks

just dont get a manitou... there good for a while but every single person i know that has bought one they have broke....
I already have one. I'm going change frame from reign to bullit and I was wondering if Travis will be good (geometry) or should I look for sth like 160+ (lyrik maybe??) totems would be great but I can't afford one right now
do alot of people race on bullits? i like em cuz there damn cheap and they seem really popular.
Well they are not *cheap* they are just cheap respectively when compared to other full-fledged race bikes like the V-10. I planning on racing mine a little this summer. I am also planning on eventually buying and building up a superlight to race XC with.
I'm thinking of getting a bullit. 3 questions though:
1.) with a DHX 5.0, do they pedal well enough for an east coast rider who has to earn every foot of down time? Most of our freeride and dh trails entail quite a bit of flat land and even some uphills (ironic... the sport is called downhill )
2.) What does your average bullit weigh? Speced with a coil shock, a totem, and mid-level cockpit, wheels, drivetrain?
3.) Is the floating break a must? How well does it work, and will riding out in the rocky, washed out east be hell without it?
