are you planning on keeping the purple?

If you plan on keeping the purple theme, you could do the obvious black or white, but i would go for a light yellow, like this.

Unsecure image, only https images allowed: http://www.markstaar.com/images/RRM-Plastics/safety-yellow.jpgIs it currently silver, or raw?

why not try to get as close to the colour as your pedals for the bars and rigids, then purple stem to match your grips.

dont go ridged with aluminium frame

I'd say same bars, white stem... keep white as the accent.
And I wouldn't put a rigid fork on an aluminum frame either.
Aluminum doesn't flex like cro-mo at all.

Everyone, I know ridged and aluminum are risky, I might get a cro-mo frame of about the same colour, so that's why I'm asking.
