Half link chain on wrong way

can someone show me the right way, i was pretty sure that the fatter part of the link faced the front of your bike, and the skinnier end of the link faced backwards, but so far my friend said its opposite and the picturs i see on google are opp

so which way does it go...

This is the same way i have mine, i think it looks abit better than the other way too, it shouldn't make too much difference which way it faces, as long as its not upside-down...

the chain will stretch anyway, but if you think about it, there is pressure in both directions on the chain when you pedal anyway.

The chain stretch on them will be greater and therefore more noticeable than a regular chain. Whether or not they stretch easy seems to depend a lot on the chain itself.

No, all chains stretch, and half links are ment to have a stronger breaking strength than regular chains, which means they wont stretch as easy, but there are more plates to stretch... so it will be more noticable. My KHE hollow pin half link is much stronger than my regular KHE chain i had, just a little heavier.

I wouldn't bother, the more times you undo the pins, the weaker the pins will be, making it easier for the chain to break.
