Trek remedys are amazing. I demoed a remedy 9 and I thought I beat it to hell but the wheels werent ever a mm out of true. It pedals amazingly and it rips downhill.
I suggest both the Devinci Remix and the Devinci Hectik. Both are semi-local for you, and have a rather slack head angle for their job, which makes they super stable on the DH. I demo'd a remix for trail riding and was blown away with how well it handled anything with a decline.

trek remedy, I have got one and i love it, really sturdy bike with bottomless travel, mine only weighs 31LBS in its current build which is a really good weight for a 160mm travel bike, (See Sig)
personally any fsr ramps up way to fast and feels like you have way less travel then you actually do. i have had a blur lt before and its a good bike really good pedaling platform a little top heavy for dh stuff. now i have a transition covert and its perfect for dh-xc. not as good a pedaling platform as vpp but sure makes for a awsome ride.
