Look into the RM Slayer sxc got a 08 this year with Fox 36 Float's and put a 09 DHX 5 coil on it and it still climbs really good and absolutely hauls on the decent even with my 6' 2" 220lb fat A$$.Big Grin need to lose some weight but the bikes tough enough to handle it.

Really a great bike
Also look into the santa cruz heckler another good choice.

i'm in the saame boat as yourself. you can get good deals on old sx trails but as i can get a weighty discount, i'm going for the orange alpine 160 AM. Easy to look after and bombproof - i hate doing anything other than clean a bike.Big Grin

I was thinking of the Cannondale Moto 4.

Is it any good for good DH, FR and XC ??

In reviews I've read they said it was, crap. I think MBUK did a test on it. they said it was over hyped and was not worth the price.

I've heard the Marin Wolf Ridge is pretty sweet. It's won a bunch of all mountain awards.

O+

I've got the intense ss(straight post version) with a fox talas 180mm and mate it rips! On the downhills its like a mini DH bike, then switch talas to 140mm and I can climb on it.

Only problem is that its heavy, I got mine built heavy at about 17kg. Great work out though if your legs and lungs can carry you Smile

Bikes ive ridden and suggest are,

Trek- Remedy/ Scratch
Giant- Reign
Intense- SS2

Make sure you take your time with the purchase and do research.there's nothing worse than wasting money on a bad purchase.
