I remember the double valve thing from 1 or 2 years ago. What people said it was then was a really tight tube seating the sides of the tire to the rim, so it wouldn't burp air. I have absolutely nothing to back that up though.

i figured it would have been around 5-10psi in the tubeless setup and then 30-40psi with a small tube ( whether it's latex or not for weight) that way you could have a tube but if you flatted the air from the tube would simply empty into the tire so you wouldnt have to worry about a flat mid run, and burping air wouldn't be a problem from the pressure in the tire.
