I wish I could ive better directions, but it's been years since I've biked Tahoe, let alone regularly. My favorite ride is riding out of Tahoe City from the Brew Pub there, up the road to the backside of Alpine Meadows into this neighborhood that dead ends into the Ward Creek trail, which is a mile or two more of an easy climb and an epic downhill with berms, gnarly stairs, and awesome fast paced single track. The trail drops you right back onto a bike path, which leads right back to the brew pub, where you can sit down and enjoy a meal and a beer after an awesome ride. It's shuttleable too.
