I have these brakes on a 2010 Bass.
They work well for DJ, but shredding down trails, or anything where you're moving at a good clip and these brakes are terrible.
Spongy, lack in stopping power, and kill you hand (from having to squeeze so hard!).

Avoid! Acera's are much better.

avoid, you are better off getting Elixir Rs or similar price point brakes

or getting deore m615s with 180mm rotors. i use these on my dh hardtail and they are awesome for the mmoney
