Can I rebuild my Fox DHX 4.0 rear shock?

The tough part about FOX is that parts are hard to get and are very expensive unless you are in the "circle"...a Fox Authorized Repair shop. I made one for mine, but it takes a ton of time on a manual lathe. Maybe there is a blown used one floating around the buy/sell?
