Does anyone know what trails have been assigned for the different classes?

They are keeping them under wraps until practice on thurs. But figure that all of the racing is happening around main lodge, so a trail map will tell you all the possibilities.
Have fun! good luck on your races.
What disciline are you racing?

The best rumor so far is Velocity for DH. Still waiting for the announcement.

Also, while youre in Mammoth, stop by VILLAGE SPORTS next to the Village. We are selling off our Lucky 7's cheap plus all accessories like 661 and Lizard Skins pads, pedals, clothing (661 and dakine) are going to be 50% off. Plus I'm here. Wink

Hey since you are local up there, let us know here what trails they start marking off for the course(s). Wink

Trails won't be marked until practice. If you're racing DH, practice starts thurs. and race isnt till Sun. Thats 3 days of practice. Plenty of time to get ready. Good luck!

Can anyone speak to the Super D course? The map is cool and all, but what's the deal with elevation drop/gain, climbs, etc.? How would you characterize the course overall? And will it be time trial or mass start?

you can compare the Super D course to a trail map.

It's a fun course, climbing at the beginning, decsending throughout and then really mellow at the end. I know it's not too descriptive, but if your not familiar with the mtn. it's hard to explain. I suggest you take advantage of the practice days.
Good luck this weekend!!
