If your bike is not 24" specific don't put 24" wheels on it. It's simple. Your bike will look stupid and people will laugh at you. Well I know I will at least.
it will be longer then the 24" specific frame beacause it will have longer chain stays to fit 26" wheels which it is supposed to have, which are what the geometry is designed for.

yeah obvs longer than the 24 frame, but i didnt mean that. im on about the 26 frame, the point at which the wheel touches the floor will be an inch closer to the bb if you slam the wheel
yes it will. but when i said it will be longer i meant compared to the other frame. but you would be better off with the 24" frame. just try to trade it.
it wont ''f*ck'' the geometry, ur bb height will be lower. thats it. if anything your wheelbase will be shorter with 24 inch
It drops the BB, the bike feels longer than it should, it messes with the trail of the fork. It's also have an effect on the feel of the gear ratio.
Thats more than only lowering the BB height.
it would feel shorter than with 26 inch wheels, and the forks would be at the same angle so i dont see how they would change. yeah the gear ratio would change a lil but he probably realised that
