yup... searched after I posted... thanks though

I was being a dick lol. Sorry about it. The PB search function is a pain in the ass, and this thread is stupid long, so I'd try getting on Google if you need any more info, and searching Pinkbike Scott Voltage FR shock links on first page 650b and/or Pinkbike Scott Voltage FR shock links on first page 27.5. I think a certain travel setting may cause tire rubbing on the seat tube.. Can't remember for sure.

Shock will fit of you have 241 shock mounts. The spring for that shock should be 3.25 and 500# will be really stiff.

Standard shock sizes:
241mm = 76mm stroke
222mm = 70mm stroke
215mm = 63mm stroke

The following will apply with the standard shock sizes above:
Standard setups:
241mm shock mount and shock to get 160 and 180mm travel options (standard on Voltage FR20 and FR10 models).
222mm shock mount and shock for 150 or 170mm travel options (standard on Voltage FR30),
215mm shock mounts, and a 215mm shock will give you 135 or 150mm travel.

Special setups:
222mm shock + 240 shock mount gives you 170mm (long) 150mm (short) of travel, slackens/lowers the bike.
215mm shock mounts and a 200mm shock equals 110mm travel
222mm shock mounts and a 215mm shock to get 135mm travel

Get the 241mm 2012 vivid air then itll fit and you dont need to worry about coils just stick the correct air in it
