Fox has a LOT of manuals on their site. If you look around, you should be able to find the manual for it.... I'm pretty sure they include instructions for lowering/disassembling your fork.

Check the older model years..... search for a while on google and on pinkbike.

Fox forks are one of the simplest forks to lower.

Go to: Forks, 36mm, 36 Float, then choose Chainging Travel at the top o the page.

very very simply, take the rod out of the air side and whack a spacer in and thats pretty much it,

I started taking apart my fork to lower the travel an noticed that I don't have spacers, Do these come with the fork?

You will have to order the spacers through your lbs.

or use an old handle bar cut to size Wink

Or pvc pipe, but I would still recommend getting the proper spacers.

Will using a handle bar or pvc hurt the fork in anyway?

I lowered mine with a handle bar spacer... just amke sure u look up the changes in air/oil or wahtever u have. U will blow ur seals if u dont adjust it all right. But when i did mine i didn;t do that and now my seals are blown and f*cking leak.

Floats are air, are you saying that I'm going to need to put less air in my fork after lowering it?
