I have had a few people ask me what I film with, so I thought it could be good to start on of these threads. There was another older thread similar to this, but it went off topic pretty fast. So a new thread, lets see what everyone is filming with, but to avoid the same thing happening again, only post your setup if you have pictures to go with it.

My setup:

Panasonic HMC150
2 VW-VBG6PPK Batteries
Rode NTG-2 shotgun mic
Dolly
Rode NTG-2 windscreen
Sennheiser Handeld mic
4 Panasonic 16GB cards
2 8GB cards
Lowepro Nature Trekker AWII Bag
Various XLR Cables
UV and polarizer filters

I have quite a basic setup, but I'm planning a major upgrade in a year or so. I was actually looking at getting the HMC150 for my upgrade, great camera you have there (I decided to settle on an FX1000 with Sony's CF Recorder and a few filters and stuff so I'm trying to raise the money for it now)!

My setup:

Sony HDR-SR12
Rode Stereo VideoMic w/Rode Dead Kitten
2x Sony Memory Stick PRO Duo 4GB Cards
AF-S 37mm Lens Hood

Manfrotto 028B Tripod
Manfrotto 701HDV Video Head
Working on Dolly, new Cable Cam, and Crane

Dell XPS 720 Desktop with Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 2.4GHz, 4GB RAM, 2x NVIDIA 8800GT 512M GPUs in SLI, 24" 1920 x 1200 and 19" 1280 x 1024 screens.
Dell Studio 15 Laptop with Intel Core 2 Duo P8700 2.53GHz, 6GB RAM, ATI Radeon HD 4570 256MB GPU, 15" 1920 x 1080 screen.
We have a family NAS (I'm 15 so I still live at home) with 3TB reserved for all my media storage, plus 2 x 500GB Samsung HDDs in my desktop in RAID 0 for a 1TB for everything else.

The more detailed list of equipment and a few other things can be seen here.

Wow JSoule.. Thats weird. i was just looking at this and then i hit facebook and saw a link jesse trnka posted of a peterborough and bancroft edit.. turns out it was by you. aha.
either way dope setup and video. I know the trnkas really well. They kill it!

Im jelous of the HMC150. I was going to save for one. But in a month i'll have access to hvx's from my college. So no point.
I'll post my setup soon though

Thanks man, the edit was just a quick little one though. That's also pretty handy that you'll have access to your schools HVXs. The only problem with schools cameras is that you have to share haha, and you don't have them for whenever.

Definitely post your setup when you get a chance.

35mm adapter on an HV20? Gotta say that's the first time I've ever seen that.

Yeah it just seems like a lot to spend on a consumer camera!

I hope I don't offend anyone with that lol

Really? 35mm adpaters and hv__'s are so popular.
Actually, in my opinion, it makes alot of sense. The HV20 has incredible picture quality, for very cheap. And this adapter was also very cheap (300ish, homemade).. So for under 1000, i got a setup that will put out an incredible image.

Heres a screenshot with the 35mm adapter from a music video i just finished shooting. I think it looks pretty decent.

I can see how it would be reasonable with a homemade one, or one for cheap

Hows this for a reasonable hv20 35mm setup?
