Can I get some ideas on how to improve my bike, I KNOW I need new forks, I might be getting Argyle 302's or 318's which is better? Also I'm soon to be buying an NS Metropolis 1, complete... so I need to get this stacked before I sell it,

why spend money on a bike your gonna sell? you'll not make any money back you'll just lose it. why not just save for your ns metropolis instead?

no harm in painting it yourself, just takes time not money.

ide just try and clean it up, it looks kinda thrashed. pull some stickers off, nobody wants stickers somebody else put on.

nobody will buy it, the way it is right now, and I need to sell it.

it costs say £2 for a can of spray and a couple of man hours....

its effort that pays off because itll look asthetically more pleasing.

Strip it down and advertise it as "ready for paint" or something along those lines.

As for parts, I wouldn't spend all that much money on it. Even if you dropped $1000 on that bike, you're still going to have a hard time selling it because that's not a frame that people want.

I would put up for a DJ series fork, that way you'd only be dropping $150-200 instead of $350-400 and it will still be better than what's on there now. Take the cranks and any other worn down items and hit them with a basic colour or a self etching primer and advertise the whole thing as ready to paint/all the hard work is already done. Use that as your selling point.

It seems trivial but a smaller seat and matching the tires would also raise the curb appeal without spending too much.

post it over in one of the photoshop and ask for it in a few different colours, which parts etc and you can see what suits it
edit:oops you already have lol
