Edit: I noticed that the thread was made in 2009 lol. Oh what the heck ^^

You might find some help out of these pictures Smile

Note: He is 11 years old and weigh like 30kg so he probably need to work his body this much to get the bike around. I would not suggest throwing your whole upper body over to one side anytime soon. Start of small and be careful Smile

My buddy Glen is well over 6ft - big guy - and he throws just as much of his upper body over.

I personally ride an 'S' bend towards the jump. Ride to the opposite side of the track to where you want to whip. I whip to the right hand side so i ride to the left hand side of the track.

When i hit the bottom of the jump i turn towards the other side of the track. When i near the top of the jump i turn back to the right. This creates an impulse whip. The i turn my handle bars to the left, therefore bringing my back out to the right. I ride with my right foot (My dominant foot) at the back. I had to practise a lot to make this natural as i used to ride with my right foot in front. Because my right foot is on the lander side of the jump when i am whipping i have both the turn and my foot to help me get the bike back in.

He's possibly a little stoned and not the most eloquent, but the riding in the second half is lovely to watch.
