Anyone doing whiteface 5k on the 3oth? gonna be my first race, and tips?

i used to race xc like 10 years ago, thought it would be fun to get into racing dh. so whiteface is gonna be my first race. got a pretty worthy steed, o4 specialized big hit. just looking for any advice that may help me. thanks
