Loopie, just to clarify for all attending Kamloops bit.
Is Kamloops portion of FF Sun Peaks Thursday and shuttle all Friday? Or are we peaking it Friday morning too?
I'll be driving northwest from Vernon Thursday morning to meet everyone at SP. I'll be there before the chairlift starts moving in the AM. Chair moves at 10am?

I think 10, ya...I've never been up there before noon Razz ....and open till 7 now
For anyone early enough on Wednesday...and wanna start shuttling, Ranch/Rio could be done, Savo???...or pedal, on your own or with criscokid or harperrider
Thursday is SP....all day
Friday morning...sleep? lol ...just start shuttling wherever. Need at least one Rio run, two is better...then Ranch, how long in there is totally up to visitors, us locals can ride it anytime(there is a DH line, but the Ranch is a focus on jumps, not everyone is into that I'd guess)...we probably want to be heading for Harper by noon-ish tho?(really, Harper is all day fun just by itself...so no such thing as getting there too early)... then over to Chainsaw Massacre and runs until winding down to all be at the top for 8ish...Sign Hanging for Stevie..Party Mode, engaged
Again...any pedally excursions in the mix would have to go thru criscokid or harperrider

Sounds good. Went on hotels.com and got a room up at Sun Peaks for Thursday night. Ride the peaks all day and roll down into town when everyone is good to go in the morning. Helmet and Cool /ON

oh an shuttle mix...not sure if there is any megadeth in there but it may be grounds for a group public execution of us all if they don't make it on the list....

So I got back from a week off with the family after driving to Drum Heller, Brooks, Calgary, Brooks ( don't ask) Calgary, home. Skated some hills coming out of the Rocky Mts and into Dinosaur park sight un seen. Fun stuff.
Crazy storms, very scenic drive all around. Good to spend some time with the family.
Back at work yesterday, 13.5 hrs Hydro Vac through re bar. Ready to go on vac again.Rolleyes Construction Beer

We did that trip last year. If you havent done Drumheller with the kids you really should.

My kids are in sports camp this week and they try a new sport everyday. Yesterday was sailing. According to my son they stuck him, his brother and another kid in a small sail boat and just let them go. they almost capsized and according to the oldest it was seriously fun trying to flip the boat with the wind. The youngest's review was 'i hate sailing because my brother kept trying to flip the boat int he wind'. Either way, throwing a few kids in a boat and saying good luck is some old school shit gangster child care and I am kind of behind it. Also it probably wasnt as hands off as my son is making it seem..

Instructor was watching from shore with beers and binoculars..... all good

My wife runs day camps for kids at the ranch. No structure, just good ole being kids. Playing in mud, crap of all kinds, animals bikes etc.

She had a picture on face book last night of a kid climbing the ladder up to the hay loft and there is an old window stored beside the ladder, someones comment was" poor choice for kids safety" jesus do we really need to bubble wrap and sanitize kids surroundings??

GRRRRR, (preparing for hulk rant) so who was it that made the comment? i certainly hope that she is actively involved in the local ladder /window volunteer safety committee, and i would expect that her mechanical engineering masters degree includes a dissertation in ladder structural rigidity. because otherwise, SHE SHOULD SHUT THE f*ck UP, and stop using the internet as a moral platform to make herself feel better than others and self aggrandize. f*cking people using the internet to patronize or pull SJW points when they don't actively do anything related to their "offense/outrage" is deserving of a good old fashioned punch in the throat. nothing more nothing less.

good on your wife. kids need play and need dirty hands and scabbed knees and tickles and they need to find weird looking bugs and they need to be curious and ask questions like why do robins eat worms while cardinals eat seeds. the future is f*cked. men used to carry swords and women used to ride f*cking horses.

Comment was made by one of the kids family friends. The wife was feeling really guilty after she read it.

Highlite of the day was when our corgi brought a huge gopher she caught into the yard and was giving it the death shake in front of the kids.
