As far a canceling Netflix. There are alot of bad thing on all media. The hunting based show Meat Eater is getting blown up for releasing the new season on Netflix. They already have like 4 seasons on Netflix. People are saying that Steve Rinnella supports kiddy porn for being on Netfix.

So does every other show on there. INCLUDING all the kids shows. f*cking morons.

I'll keep Netfix thanks. It's the real internet and cell phones we should be worries about.


As far as kids re identifying. Up to them and the parents I guess. I am not them. I am not in thier head. I have no right to tell them otherwise. Love and support .

Now having said that.....

I winder how many young kids have been influenced by other on social media and get caught up in the hype? I remember being awfully confused as a pre teen about everything in life. Had zero influence as there was no inter net ot tv shows that I watched to steer me. Only me finding my way.

Actually now that you mention it I forgot to mention that the 14 year old has anxiety issues including panic attacks. The interesting point is that a lot of her friends have also anxiety issues and 3 of her closest friends are also identifying as something other than girl so I am not 100% what is going on however, as long as they are good humans and don't start preaching then they can explore who they are or hopefully figure out a few more things because right now I have the typical 14 year old saying F*ck you to the world and not a lot of self reflecting and understanding.

There isn't a sudden surge in gender dysphoria and a psychiatric condition, there's a sudden media push and pop culture acceptance. It's suddenly hip to be bi or trans or gay or whatever the f*ck else they've come up with this week, so kids that have no actual concept of sexuality or what gender identity actually means are bombarded with this shit and fall right in line. There have always been effeminate dudes and boy'ish girls but now kids are being lit up with shit before they've even turned double digits in age that tells them if you're a boy'ish girl you're a lesbian or a boy in a girls body and vice versa for girl'ish boys. It's all bullshit and it's honestly the exact opposite of kids figuring it out for themselves.

We had a program in our schools...can't recall the name of it....but it basically was teaching the kids how to calm themselves down, how to reflect internally, and how to control their reactions in the face of the barrage of info that comes at them. bullying, social media posts, school shootings, threats, gender stuff, etc....

Some lame ass non-participating parent complained that it resembled Buddhism....so they remove the program.

I hate people....

Paying for a service that some unknown provider uses to do shitty things that you could go find if you wanted to is different than directly paying a provider that uses your money to do shitty things. Netflix isn't some sick rando that you can go find, it's a service you're choosing to pay for... they're literally taking money from subscribers and using it to pay for inappropriate content that they can sell to people who want to see it. Not encouraging anyone to cancel anything and if you're cool with it, that's your own deal, but suggesting it's remotely similar to cancelling the internet is idiotic.

One of my Ex girlfriends transitioned to a guy this last year.. Was a bit strange, but we have always been pretty good friends after we broke up and would still hang out a few times a year.


He was pretty cool about it.. He reached out to me before he want public so I wasn't blindsided and told me that he was an open book if I ever had questions.

The biggest thing is he jumped in 100% and committed to the new identity. The first 6 months was pretty weird in between stage, and he had the top surgery. But at this point he looks like any of my other guy friends.. He has been on testosterone for 8 months and been lifting like mad, so he has gained a ton of bulk and looks way more masculine than a bunch of guys I know.


I am way more ok with this than the "non-binary" stuff.. And if you are going to pick a side, you better really go with it.


I agree that the social media craze is definitely a hard thing with kids.. Another friend is a 6th grade teacher and has 3-4 students that are "non-binary" and asking to be called they-them.. I don't get it..

At the same time, I don't feel the need to click on some douchey show on Netflix any more than I do on Facebook, Instagram or Youtube. If there is enough of an uproar then NF will do pull it. So ya, perhaps myself and others should write an email threatening to cancel if it's not pulled.

I’ve spent the majority of my life in Cali. Most of my family and friends are all here and there are a lot of nice things here, like the beach for surfing, mountains for snowboarding and mountain biking.
