My son just picked up this as a EDC. Pretty impressed so far.

cool idea about the quick field stripping. nice knife. looking forward to a 6 month review.
dragon i spoiled myself over xmas with a benchmade bailout tanto blade. its half the thickness of any other folding knife i own, and half the weight as well. which initially sold me on the choice, but now its so f*cking light that i cannot tell when its in a pocket. which sounds silly but drives me nuts if i cant do a quick kit check while on the move. if that makes sense. otherwise its a helluva knife.

That Benchmade is a rad brand and that model is cool af.

My nice EDC is heavy as hell. Always know when it's in pocket.

I want sure on the field stripping part but it seems to be tight and right.

I love cleaver folders. I want all of them.....

Yeah but I want the fork on the FS as HT life is getting old. Maybe I'll just snag another from the buy/sell.

Have prices gone down on Trust forks yet?

What's the long term service situation look like? I think at a certain level when you're working on it suspension is suspension ...

They are out of business so not really a viable option for most.

I carry a tiny Swiss Army one on keychain. Like an inch blade, tiny scissors, little pen, and tiny light. Comes surprisingly handy at times.

Also carry like a little metal bar to scrape and pry stuff off, with a screwdriver.

I hope so too.. I am really not looking forward to dealing with it..

It's also hard because I want to clean everything up, but if I am going to pay a 1000 deductible and they are going to pay for a tree crew to clean up, there is no use for me doing the hard work if I am paying anyways..

Awomen.

Ok, I'm just trying to be funny. I know it's not. Just when you thought we were done with 2020, along comes 2021 and says; "Hold my year."

I know, I know. But it is to laugh. I've been watching a bit of Colbert lately. Not sure why.

I'm very happy that nobody was sleeping in that corner of the Swan household.

Dogs are our only unlimited friends. Love them well.

I am pulling for everybody to rise above all of this shit.

@swan...

But are the bikes ok?

Hope all goes well with repairs and insurance headaches! Thank goodness no one was hurt.

That I know. I have to admit I was pretty interested in the idea of a linkage fork, and then they went out of business.

I bet a bike suspension shop could service them anyway. At least until something major breaks.

If I recall correctly they just ceased operations... siting COVID... but didn’t fold the company.

Based on reviews I woulda had a hard time paying any money for one.
