The winner won

some disputable judging down the board but everyone who finished a lap gets to come back for the next one

ok fair point that it's a gas F350 but I could not afford to buy a diesel as it would have been another 10 to 15k$ and I just did not have the cash to step up.

The project we are doing in Medicine Hat has 2 pump tracks and the bigger one is over 600 feet in length. We moved something like 900 tonnes of 3 inch gravel as the base for the 2 pump tracks, a path and a parking area this week. Next week we start building berms and rollers, I won't lie, I'm really excited about this kind of work. I hope we get to mix in a few more actual trail builds as those are great as well. The build on Vancouver Island will have us building a flow trail in asphalt that is going to be different and cool!

I know it's scary expensive, but you need to look at a tiltrotator setup.. It cuts down on hand work by 50% or more. Come down and play with mine or find one around there. Mine could have cost 60k and I'd still claim that it's worth it.

Great! New mattress day yesterday. Slept well on it.
Sold a dining room set on FBMP yesterday and freed up some space in the garage.
Perfect fall riding weather here so might get out for a spin later this morning.
How about you?

Labs are awesome! Happiest dogs in the dog park always with tails wagging.
Congrats!

I have two black labs at home… they are truly the best dogs. Keep them busy, and train early. Crate training was key. Not good trail dogs though, their hips can’t handle the run.

You get a field or English lab?

Dogs are the best, congrats ! Lost our lab a year ago, she was awesome. Some great reads on raising them, take the time to research and you will be rewarded.

I have an old school book on retriever training around here somewhere. I will see if I can dig it up.

I think that of all the people, you’re not going to need advice. Dogs react like people to the subtle cues we all put out when interacting. Should be no prob!

We have a new dog, she's an ex-racing greyhound. Standby for pics.
