hey fight fans, there was a doozy this weekend and i only just got to watch it.
boxing;
teofimo lopez v. george kambosos.
teofimo beat who i consider a perfect boxer last year named vitaly lomachenko.
lopez and kambosos was the kind of boxing match that anyone from any time in history would have loved to watch. youtube has lots of highlights and if you sail the seas of piracy you can watch the whole thing. great fight.

UFC Fight night has Aldo/Font. That should be a good fight.

Rest of the card is meh with a few possible highlights.
Prelims might be better than the main card.

no one is sleeping on rob font anymore. his record is legit and his beat down of garbrandt has me very confident that this will be a dog walk. a legendary dog who still has teeth, but aldo still gettin walked.

riddell v fiziev is gonna be a great fight dude. riddell is a banger and fiziev is a legend in thailand. his kicks are f*ckin battery drainers. watch his highlight reel. hes legit entertainment.

clay guida always brings a low skill, high energy style to fighting. which is fun if messy.

jimmy crute is on the card too. against jamalamahama hill. this will be good too. crute lost to anthony smith due to a dead leg, and crute is tough as f*ck so hes gonna come back with a chip on his shoulder. jamalama lost his last fight too so they both need wins. banger? maybe

brain barbarena (who i call vinny barbareno, whom some of you might remember) looks like he won some kind of "pick a fan in the seats to come and fight against a professional" challenge, but he has a cinder block for a head and is fun to watch bang. but yeah, how that body is an example of what a professional fighter at 170 pounds looks like- when guys like kamaru usman are in the division- is beyond me. but yeah, if you like watching homer simpson inspired striking defence, be sure to tune in.

the pre lims have mickey gall and what looks like a spilled can of alphaghetti that people are pretending to call names filling the rest of the spots.

overall not a stacked card, but at least its better than that last piece of shit a few weeks ago with main event tate v. vieria.

Damn the carpenter is fighting? How longs it been since he’s been in there?!

Aldo was wicked for a while. That one punch put him out for good me thinks.

Yeah, the main event looks good as do some of the other fights u guys noted, but I’m more looking forward to the following week with Olivera vs Poirier. There are lots of other good matches and fighters on that card too like Garbarant vs France, O’Malley vs Piava, the whole prelim card, Munoz vs Dominick Cruz, and even the early prelims have some good fights including heel hook specialist Ryan Hall.

Aldo was wicked for a while. That one punch put him out for good me thinks.

Guida has been fighting pretty regularly. He last fought in August, loss and in February before that in a win. Aldo has been looking really good in his last 2 fights with wins over Pedro Munoz and Marlon Vera. Should be a good fight with font. I would pick him for that fight.

Interesting. I have been out of the loop with the ufc.

Totally legit take. I'm low on Aldo winning this fight because font looked so good, fast and technically sound against the fastest fighter in 135 - garbrandt. His boxing will knockout Aldo in the second I think. My crystal ball says slip a jab, short uppercut and left hook.
I'm low on aldo winning the fight because even though he won against Munoz and vera, he didn't take shots well, and i want to go watch the Vera fight again because iirc it was a decision and I think I disagreed with it. But I am a Vera fan boy.
And do remember that he lost 3 in a row prior to three f*cking murderers, and he looked chinny throughout.
I think the weight cut is really really hard on this older fighter, and he's been in so many wars that I'm just concerned. Those Holloway fights will take years off his life. Never mind the quick loss to McGregor.
So that's my rationale.

But oh yeah, poirier v Oliveira will be so good. Who ya got? I got poirier in the fourth, but I'm whispering it. I think Oliveira will give Dustin a harder time than Conor did. Oliveira can do everything and looks amazing at 155. Oliveira might be the only 155 who can beat Islam. And gaethjes my favorite in the div.

I hate watching guida fight. He played too many games of street fighter.

Also starting to look like he’s getting used to bantamweight. Don’t is no slouch. I think it’ll be a heater of a fight.

Cody is the fastest striker but he can make some stupid decisions. I think he overlooked font. Once you start putting it on Cody he kinda crumbles. Dudes tough as hell or font would have knocked him out a couple times. But he starts losing and he starts backpedaling and looking for the one hitter. That leads to decision loses.

glad you guys know wtf you're talking about. I think I'd be persuaded to buy tickets just based on ya'lls hype and commentary... tup

i know very little about UFC. how these guys can survive the amount of pounding of a match is beyond me.
Finally got a new drivertrain and the snow comes!
just my luck!

man i wish i could watch fights with you and some of he fellas who follow on here. its like every comment yall make about these fights have got good insight, and a lot of the ones i disagree with have great reasoning as well. we should do a fight zoom. ha! god, a zoom i would actually enjoy.
this take on garbrandt could be on his tombstone. and you know who else he's a lot like? gaethje. both of those dudes just love to f*ckin throw caution to the wind, jump in a phonebooth and swing for the fences.
which i selfishly find enterf*ckintaining!

Should be pretty similar the Raptor Ranger since I think they are built on the same chassis or at least same suspension design.
