If it wasn’t for herself, I’d probably be dead. I hope I pass first, because the chance of finding an adequate replacement is as good as a western country having a legitimate election.

Gringos came here at the busiest holiday weekend of the year then complained it was too noisy and too busy. They stayed next to a bar and had no sleep for 3 days straight.
Gringos came here before busy season and said it was dull and boring. Not sure what they expected. Casinos and Hooters? Gunfights and mass shootings? This is a chilled sleepy low key Andean mountain town. It has such rich cultural fabric it would make a SJW weep.
Gringos sitting on the steps of a nice coffee shop run by a lovely young indigenous couple. Having to step around them like navigating dog muck on a dark street. Sitting around yapping loudly, sitting cross legged in that annoying “yah” look-at-me MongoLemon yoga faux hippy pose, cluttering the place up like black garbage bags caught in a hedge. Twats.
Not all bad. Met a gringo vet who is here doing a pre study practicum for a charity. Cool kid.
And our elderly Murican neighbours offered us as much free veg and fruit as we want until our garden yields. Nice folks. I gave them some advice on security and surveillance.

Some people are just flotsam flapping around aimlessly, empty vacuous souls, black garbage bags caught in the breeze looking for something to get snagged on.
Get snagged up on the new big idiot terrorvision thing - Monkeypox AKA autoimmune blistering disease - or something….useless fkn idiots.
There is just something special about a Porsche flat six at full song. Miss my old SC sometimes.
That would have been a hard one to let go of. The flat six sound is incredible. One of my all-time faves engine notes. Particularly the carburetted ones.
So I am signed up for the North American Enduro Cup race in 2 weeks.. I have ridden my bike once in the last 18 months. I am trying to decide if I want to try and crash course and ride a bunch before then, of I should continue on my current training regime of a 6 pack of beer a night and 12 hours of work and not touch my bike until the day before the race..

i prefer the raspy note of a fresh air breathing american V8 as it idles with that hint of threatening potential. like a buldog eating a bumblebee, just rassspppy.

I’d love you to not bother and hit the podium, but given that it’s a race you entered, you at least need to give it the respect it deserves by putting in at least some effort!! You may even like the abuse lol
Knock back consumption a touch then neck the lot following completion of said race .. I got your back
just imagine the balls it takes to put on a cheap tusken raider costume and climb in behind an hand grenade of an engine like that while they fill it with suicide sauce and turn it on. talk about staring death directly in the face.
