DIY... it’s easy and some kid at a camera store making minimum wage isn’t gonna be any more careful than you.

No, but if they screw it up, the camera store should/will fix the camera back to a working state again

I use the Eclipse fluid and swabs. I’ve never had a problem, just be careful and use some common sense.

No, but if they f*ck it up it’s on them financially which could be a hell of a bill depending on the body.

Good stuff dude!

I just printed my first *large* photo. 230x46cm. Only limited by the size of that wall. Totally deserves to be blown up to a huge size.

This is the shot: https://500px.com/photo/1034794581/ramberg-by-amando-abreu

14 vertical shots at 200mm with ridiculously pretty light 90km above the arctic circle in the Lofoten islands. Also, the new canon R6 is the bomb.

So ridiculously dry, but it makes for some good shots. Ha ha.

Nice work, looks good!

I haven't printed anything that big, but have done a 1m wide copy of this one which looks good on the wall:

From memory it was an 8 shot pano stitch (2 rows of 4) so it has plenty of resolution to play with.

Cool did you use a polarizing filter for the water?

This is a 32 shot pano that I was forced to take beacuse I only had a 50 mm f1.8 full frame lens on a APS-C Sony body so the effective focal length was roughly 75 mm. And I wasn’t able to get back far enough to get it in one frame beacuse the tanks was surrounded by land mines.

My computer would get so bogged down that it kept crashing, when LR finally started to stich it it took around 5-6 hrs to do. The file is huge, approximately 11572 X 7051.

No polariser, just really clear calm water and nice morning light. I was happy with how it turned out!
