Hey everybody, this is a thread for people with questions about building wooden ramps. This means if you need help with building kickers, quarter pipes, box jumps or anything wooden, ask here and people who know what they're doing will help you out.

Remember, try searching as the question might have been already answered in this thread. I will eventually be making video tuturials but for now, i will have to answer it in words.

Check out ramps i have already built here

So I'd need a 7'6 2x4?

indeed. its like i said. you drill a hole for the pencil, measure 7'6 away and put a screw in as the pivot point

what would be the best way to build this and could it be built so its easier to store like so 2 or 3 peices

you could build i in 4 sections. 2 4' wide kickers, and 2 boxes for the landing. they'd have to be pretty big though if you want a legit landing. maybe 4 pieces for the landing? 4 boxed 5 high, 4 wide and 5 deep. so in end the landing would be 8 wide and 10 long

Whats the best way to buld a grind box / manual pad? What dimensions are best? And what exact materials am I going to need (I would like to go to a lumber store that cuts your wood for you for free and just tell them I want this this and this)

how high can you hop? a grind box would need to be atleast a foot high and 2ft wide.
