The sintered metal pads were $24.99 at Bow Cycle in Calgary. Yes - overpriced,as with everything in Calgary. But I previously bought some Kool Stop pads for $10, and for what I got out of them, they were $10 too much.
i had been running juicy 5's on my dh bike for about a year. there stopping power is pretty good ecspecialy when your 200+ pounds. i only had a problem a couple of times with fadding.
