Daaaang that's a beautiful selection of bikes! Not to mention, what, $5k in shocks alone, lol it's hard to tell but it looks like the V10 in the back has a 11-6 on it as well? The blue one is a 5010, correct? How do you like the 5010 vs the HTLT? If I was looking at those 3 bikes, I would probably opt to go with a Blur or Tallboy over the 5010 as more of a trail bike, but man can't go wrong!

No, the v10 has a vivid r2c

I already had the 5010 which I loved(precious model too) but wanted to try a 29er bike ao thought I would give the HT LT a go. Not really ridden it yet, only up and down the road, had a bmx crash a few weeks ago, so still have bruised ribs both sides and left shoulder :-(

Deff a good call on the float X2 recently put one on my Hightower total game changer!

22.2 will be a tight squeeze

the other option is 21.84 so i guess im doin that.

Xoas is it really plush? ive heard that its almost coil-like on SC bikes, my current shock is pretty good but has like no small bump sensitivity no matter how i tweak my setup. also not sure if i want to go with 2.25 or 2.00 stroke length.

8x22 is on ebay cheap

Few options CCDB In-line Coil in 2.25 and get the spacer to reduce it to 2.00. This way you can try both
DVO Topaz in 2.25 and get the spacer from DVO to reduce it to 2.00

Those 2 I know can be done because I have them.
Other coil shocks you should be able to get a bigger bottom out spacer to reduce stroke
Not sure on other air shocks

finished my tallboy build. Need the rain to stop so I can get it on the trails. Considering changing out the rear shock to a DPX2. Using for trail/all mountain more than XC

The dpx2 is so overrated.

i was talking to a guy who was using a dpx2 on his tallboy, said it made the bike way more capable
