Nut-worthy Super 8 right there! I would've robbed a bank for that bike when I was in middle school. Do you still ride it?

I always loved the Super 8. I would love to rebuild one with a single crown fork as a downduro bike lol

I'm going to try to find time to rebuild my Blur 4X tomorrow. Got the frame back from paint a few weeks ago.

Is the ear protector on a N4 lower link a carbon only thing?
My aluminium N4 just has the seal cap/washer on all 4 seals.

I don't have that on my alloy nomad either.

Santa Cruz Super 8

Repainted my good old Super 8 from 2002.

Would have been sick if you kept it yellow, removed the SC sticker from the downtube, and replaced it with a big Tonka sticker.

So.. anyone have any idea about SC's crazy long leadtime on Bronson al frame deliveries? Ordered mine in december and after several delays it has been rescheduled to may. Gotto say, i am not a happy camper right now. I'm at that point when i just abandon the idea of getting a sc again and go for the brodeal i was offered on a stumpy Evo frame..

My shop always makes sure people understand from the beginning that frame and component manufacturing may not keep up with demand. The bikes are worth the wait, but SC won't feel bad if you wanna snag that stumpjumper. You'll make the person in line behind you very happy Smile

What time of the year does SC roll out updates and new colors?

Well next release is their redesigned Stigmata, which is supposed to come out mid-May. Then after that we may see a Tallboy redesign, and after that a new Hightower. Though I vote for a Tallboy/Hightower hybrid, the Highboy.
