Hey guys, weve recently began work on our old trail and have had many complaints from the old peoples home who lives across the road. The ushal lines are spewed out to us like "well the next step is the community police" and "weve payed £150,000 for peace and quiet"and even "the bank is too step to build on, it will cause a landslide and the nearby houses will be destroyed and the road will be damaged." All im asking is if anyone has one only liners to send them packing until we finish the project becuase simply telling them to " go fourth and mulitply" isn't going to help the situation.
Please we need your help....

Cheers, Sam
Salute

Bring them some milk and cookies and chill with them. Start talking about you ideas of what you'd like to do and listen to the older wise folks. If that don't work spike there punch.

Who owns the land? Get explicit permission from the land-owner -> if you do then the old people can't really say anything. But on the other hand; the best approach has always, in my experience, been diplomacy; Find out what the complainers are actually annoyed about and make a deal with them to limit the effects.
