i have stock rims on my 08 p2 i got a couple weeks ago, and they really suck, so i really need a new set. i need them to be strong and not to expensive. i'm looking at the mavic 729 or the atomlab pimp. do you have any more suggestions? i do mostly DJ and some street/park. i just need some rims that wont cost to much and will last.

210 lbs plus hack rider here. I ran 729s this season doing many many downhill runs. Stayed true the whole time with minmal flat spottage. I reccomend them

everyone i see w/ azonic outlaws loves them, I ask cause im thinking about a new wheelset but im pretty much broke so cant go crazy, they are cheap and strong, sadly ive never picked one up but im guessing they weigh a ton as they are cheap and strong.

I'm also looking at the MTX 33 or the next size bigger. i think that i might be a little to broke for the 729s. i've heard good things about the outlaws, but they only come in a fully built wheel right? i need just a rim.

Have you used a set?? The only time mine failed was racing and a pedal got put thru my front wheel. I STILL finished the race, wheel was ok other than a few broken spokes.

I guess if its not a 900$ wheelset it sucks.
