they have been bought by GT and they went out cos their contract ran out with DW and they were broke and couldnt afford to make a new link system. Thats what iv herd so if uv got a sunday and if something is broken u might be able to get spare parts.

I just wonder if there will be any replacement parts to service the current owners.

And you care? This sounds like such childish shit... Oh noes, someone with a shitty bike thinks my cool bike is like their shitty bike, I must prove them wrong!

Iron Horse Bicycles have RETURNED!!!! http://www.ironhorsebikes.com/

But wait.... these names like Maverick and Warrior sound familiar, however look to be competition for Walmart Mongoose and Targets' Next brands. WTF! I am crazy disapointed at Dorel . I expectected more form a company who has GT, Cannondale and Mongoose Pro in their line-up .If this is the kinda bike to be expected from IH in the future I may soon be too embarressed to ride euther of my rides in public any more. I'm So glad that I didn't hold out for these new "bikes". I can only hope Dorel quickly up-scales this brand or put these "Horses" down for good!

I got sucked into a banner on this site for Airborne bikes... if you look at the DH bikes they look identical to the yakuzas!!! so I wonder if they sold there tooling and or plant to that company?

Yep! about a year and a half ago Airborne bought the designs for the old Warrior HT, Warrior 4.0 FS and the Yakuza Aniki and Kumichu.Changed the geometry a lil'.... but given the new Iron Horse bikes... maybe Airborne shoulda have just bought the IH name too and lisenced the DW link too.
