Right, so the time is coming when i want a new graphics card soon, it will most likely at the moment be either a 4870 1gb or a 5770 1gb, i just need to know if any of these will work on my system, with my PSU in particular which is a Thermaltake TR2 RX 450w... like, do i have the right connectors for the card? Thanks Big Grin

I do have a pcie slot danny but im pretty sure for higher end cards (so NOT like my 8400gs) you need to plug a couple of leads into the psu as well?

And i dont know what it has off by heart

Oh, and thanks Big Grin i didnt think of looking on toms haha. 8400GS isnt on there though D:

I think im in luck with a 5770, i HAVE a 6 pin pci-e connector (dont know what a 75w connector is... though) i HAVE a 450w or greater psu (only just...) and i HAVE a pci-e x16 slot Big Grin

I dont have £130 yet though haha
