Hookworms are SO heavy in 26". I think if I was riding rails I might think they were a good idea, but for most people I think it's a shame to add so much weight to your bike for no real reason.

+1000

I'm deciding against them I love them and all but for one they wont fit on my bike and 2 yea they are almost a pound each. I'm gonna go with the 26" 2.3 Van's x cult tire they are a bit lighter and I think they will be good for grip! Also for Edmonton riders has anyone been to house of wheels? Is it good to start learning tricks?

I think you where looking at the 16x1.95 and that is still over a pound at 515g... I had to go look cause theyre crazy heavy

The 26" is 1125g closer to 3lb than 2.. lol

I mean it doesn't matter, they won't fit, but 2.5lb.. thats crazy

The DTH comes in at 550g for the 2.15 and 650 for the 2.35 (while Im still on maxxis)

Sorry for some reason I thought 900g was a pound... that was dumb.

I just looked on Canyon's website to confirm that... I had no idea. They literally appear to ship almost anywhere in the world except for North America. What the actual heck.

I thought that it was something to do with the patent on the suspension linkage, and it’s only patented in the USA. That might just be a rumor though.

Most all of those that you listed are all "Frame Only" options, and do not offer a current Complete bike for sale. Correct me if I am wrong on any of those.

And does Dartmoor distribute to USA?

All of those are complete builds. Dartmoor distributes to ZMcycles, so technically Canada, but I'm sure they ship there.

and apparently Recycledmountainracing.com in OR
