After I regretted selling my old soda I started looking for a new one and was holding out for one of that colorway. I love the purple ones. I was never able to find one and have since moved on. Good luck though I'd love to see how you would build up one of these bad boys. I loved my Soda Slope.
if he gets ahold of one of those it's gonna be some next level shit....

Ya dislocated both my shoulders riding dirtjumps.. luckily at different times. Also luckily it popped out and back in, I don’t know if I could handle having to relocate it- that would really hurt.
Almost makes ya not want to ride hard anymore.
Hurts way more than broken bones. Injuries really suck, keep positive manny you will get through it
It’s a Specialized thing. I don’t completely understand the logic behind it, that’s just the way they do it. The slots in the seat tube are faced horizontally on either side, I think the advantage to running the clamp reversed is less stress on the bolt/clamp area. It also helps keep dirt out of the threads.
I actually turned it around for a minute to see what it looks like, and I thought it looked less balanced with the clamp facing back toward the rear tire. I like having that clean radius of clearance around the seat/post/clamp area and the tire.

I actually turn all my seat clamps around on my bikes for the dirt/mud reasoning just not on my DJ purely for aesthetics. Being a rider from the PNW you always have to think ahead as to what the mud and rain will ruin next lol.
