yeah thats heavy but compared to my old downhill rig its like a feather... I'm sure i can dump some of that weight with a better stem and bars as well as tires... the pimp rims are heavy but they are the strongest things I've ever ridin, so they have to stay...

My p3 is under 27lbs, i don't know the exact weight, and probably just as strong too. Except maybe the stem. And i dunno about the frame. coz it's alu, so it's stiff. but yours is cromo, which flexes to absorb shit. So yeah. I dunno.

I do have some stuff comin that'll shave a bit off... e13 chianring 36T instead of my blasphemous 44T as well as a new(new to me) guard... and I'll hack off a bit more of my chainguide... and I was thinking about some new tires... these panaracer uffda slicks i got are fast but they weigh almost as much as my rims.. lol... you got any recomendations on a good street tire...?

those specialized look pretty good but they weigh more than my Uff da!'s...

No the new one is 600 g for a 2.0 in 2012 model year. The old which I think you are looking at is like 1000 g
