Yeah they will pretty tough to put up with the higher pressures.

When i use single ply tyres i roughly need 40 psi so they don't fold under my weight, when i use dual ply tyres i can run 30 psi.

When maxxis made the advantage i had to run 45-50 psi as they were tall and not much thicker than paper.Eek

Good list. I found this set on CRC and just got it. Great for the money, thought people should check it out as it covers almost your whole bike.

(no I dont work for x-tools LOL, just thought it deserved a recommendation)

I can't recall if it's called 2nd skin or mole's skin but it's for nasty cuts or blisters and I carry it on every ride (and Neosporin). My foot was so trashed on a ride once I don't think I could have pedaled without it. It isn't much fun to take off however but it will get you out of a jam no doubt in the middle of nowhere...

keep a few good sized squares or a roll in your pack....

Good call on first aid.

zip ties are a life saver on the trail and the workshop

Apply a strip of duct tape to your bag. It's a great place to store for later use.Pull it off in case it's needed.

They just bend on dh tyres.

Is it something to do with the Kevlar?

No kevlar is really plyable and comes of the rim an absolute doddle Eek it's the steel bead in the dh tyre and the extra sidewall protection that makes them tougher to get of.
You can use plastic tire levers, as long as you use multiple and inch the tire on bit by bit, do it all the time at the shop i work at, never need anything else..

With more folk tinkering, bolt replacement seems a common practice,
thread guage and measuring calipers are always useful in the workshop.

Bolt extractor,Tap and die set if your feeling more adventurous.

With everything being carbon these days, perhaps a torque wrench.
