Where to move to in Aussi for great freeride mountain biking?

Hello down there. I live in British Columbia, Canada and I'm looking to move to Australia next year. I've recently fallen in love with surfing, where should i move to that I can freeride mountain bike and surf in the same day? I've been looking around the coast between Melbourne and Sydney with some interest in Wollongong. Any insider info on good locations to live sure would be appreciated. Thanks! ...Darren

For freeride I would go either Wollongong or country victoria.

Not to sure on surf but I know theres sweet stuff on most of the east coast.

I think you'll find that alot of the fr stuff in wollongong will be illegal (not sure I've never been there) but you should be able to rock up at a track and ask some locals, most will only be to happy to tell you.

Hopefully a local can contact you on here and show you round when/if you get over here.

oh and surfing is like everywhere in east of australia, shouldn't be too hard to find a spot for surfing and biking.
