I meet a kid at the trails who just stopped racing and he told me he would trade my bottle rocket and pike for his intense m3 and boxxer team. should i do it?

depends, an m3 is heavy and is a very good downhill specfic bike I would keep you bottle rocket for northwest riding right now such as duthie its hard enough getting speed for those jumps with a 7" frame such as your bottle rocket hope my opion helps.
