Awesome bike!
But I have to admit that I like the 2011 frame better Wink But it's still a Bottlerocket with an awesome partliste. I am impressed and feel so sad that I have to sell mine Frown

how do you tell which version bottlerocket you've got?

I'm looking at replacing all the bearings and don't know which version I've got. are there really 6 versions?!

take a look at the rear bearings by the drop out, if they're smaller than all the rest you have a V1 frame, all the others have the same size pivots and the bearing kits are compatible with all versions from v2 onwards

O+

They got smaller again on the last generation.

V1 - small dropout bearings
V2 - large dropout bearings
V3 - cutout at the shock mount on the top tube

Can't remember whether it was V4 or 5 that switched to tapered steerer, ISCG05 and larger seat tube.

I'm pretty sure it's a v1 that I have. it's got the smaller bearings by the drop out.

It's a v1, 2007 iirc.

I got my bearings from AK bearings for half the price of the kits online.

Yup V1 2007 same as mine

The old transition importer Brighton Surf and Cycle Ltd from a couple of years ago has loads of stock on their shelves but they are no longer a Transition importer / seller so they do the kits really cheap.
