Why would you use an Avalanche to huck anyway? Not ALL hardtails can be used to huck. Huck hardtail bikes have geo to accomodate long travel forks.
Just saying, you can pretty much huck on anything. Trial rider routinely do 20 foot drops on ridgids. I know, that's a whole other ballgame, but...just saying
Here's a few of ours. some of the pics are of me and some are of my friend but anything he hits I hit and visa versa.
This one is a road gap we built in his backyard (final Dimensions are 10 foot drop to top of landing with a 21 foot gap from end of takeoff to beginning or landing):
And then actually hucking it:
FMX Jumps at post canyon (20-30 foot gaps off of 6 foot tall booters):
The only time either of us have ridden a FS bike is one demo run at whistler so hardtails is all we know. I guess that makes it easier.

you can hook on anything its just how you land it and , not always you need suspention , i do small dropoffs 8ft and stuff on my avalance with 130mm forks and my mate does the same on a steel frame with 100mm , so its not all about the bike its the rider i belive
Step down at Ae Forest, Dumfries. Was at a race there and a large quantity of cider told me it was a good idea to hit the stepdown in the dark. Once word got round what was happening a bit of a crowd came so I couldn't pussy out any more.
That photo doesnt make it look that big, this one (not me) does it more justice:
The chap on the right may have had a part to play in me doing this...
yeah but u dont see kyle strait hucking an hardtail. you could not do the redbull rampage on a hardtail. unless you have no wrists
you noobs clearly havent heard of Russ Morrell. google him and watch his youtube vids. he joined redbull rampage on a hardtail, i think it was 2002 or 2003. he appeared in videos like Jib, etc... he also used to be active here in pinkbike when he was taking up dentistry. pinkbike was awesome back then. unlike now its full of noobs and idiot kids.

Also, Tyler Klassen did a bunch of urban freeride (legit stuff, like massive stairsets) on a hardtail as well as a fully.
*edit* lol didn't realize this was a gravedig, oh well.
