Please be gentle as its my first post here and it happens to be a x-post to another site. I'll make up for it for putting up a bunch of content here and maybe, one day, some day, aspire to be Pinkbike VOD

Its probably not a bad idea to take advantage of very little snow down low in North Vancouver trails and get on with the "job" of reviewing bikes

First looks at the Norco LT6.1 http://reviews.mtbr.com/blog/norcolt6-1-firstlook

Mike - I looked and there's no way to embed vimeo videos. Just Youtube and Pinkbike videos

Ok tried this

Welcome Lee!
I saw some of your initial impressions on MTBR and I too am on an LT6.1 these days. I first rode one in Moab back in September with the Norco crew and just picked up a bike about 2 weeks ago too. I am very happy with this bike and will also be analyzing a lot about it over the coming weeks. Looking forward to seeing more of your thoughts!

Thanks Ty. It's still ski season for me but I'm trying to get out on the bike a bit. Maybe I'll have to make a trip out to Sumas or Burke. Some trails there to really work the bike over.

Those trails don't look too gnarly, but I'd love to have that kind of terrain where I live... everything is so flat here, it's not even funny Frown

There is a trail (as in riding) day on Sumas on Sunday. FVMBA is having a BBQ and membership drive. Might be there if all goes well.

Got an error uploading videos to Pinkbike so this will have to do

Corkscrew, North Vancouver on the Norco LT 6.1

March 22, 2010 ride & the lower trails are snow free. Climbed on the trails and road to the Corkscrew trailhead & dropped in. After a rough ride on Corkscrew I opted for an even rougher ride on Pingu

Filmed with a GoPro HD worn with the chest mount & a Panasonic Lumix FX35

Looks rough Lee! You should come ride smooth trails on Sumas with Mike and I one day. I'm thoroughly enjoying my time on the LT - the slightly higher BB and stiffer travel over the Enduro is making it way more favorable to my riding style (and less pedal strikes!)

tyler - I edited out the lawndart in one section. Totally forgot to drop tire pressure down from 50 psi where I had it for the road climb. Was much better @ 30 or so!

I'd love to come out and loam roam some Sumas

Any idea how to embed vimeo videos?

Only PB and Youtube embeds work for the most part. What happened when you tried to upload to PB?

We ride Sumas once a week for the most part, although I am thinking island or interior to LT it up on different trails.

I got a domain security error issue. Now tried re-uploading and it works. Oh well - glitch in the matrix. Rode Pipeline today. I'm thinking Merritt trails might be getting dry

If you check out Merritt, be sure to let us know if it is good to go.
Thanks
