Nothing too amazing. The inside of the truck looks like a baked potato from all the heat shield/sound deadening material and did some more sanding. Added some more tubing to the bed to level it out better. The plan is to get an s-10 bed floor and cut it to fit.

Picked up some MDF to start framing in the center console. Mostly I'm just waiting on my brother to get off his lazy ass and start running the wires as that's the only thing stopping the engine from running right now.

Nope, not much has been done to the truck since June. Its been pushed outside a couple times and some work has been done on the dashboard but that's about it along with some wiring but nothing really worth photographing yet.

I'd love to but my 7 day weekend has now been reduced to about 1 day and on that one day there's usually something more important that needs to be done. So the truck sits.

I assume that means youve got a job and are earning money though....Cant be too bad!

I definitely can't complain about making money. A couple more months and I can start banking for my own truck project. Second time around should go a lot smoother than this one.

you going to do something similar to this, just with a different truck?

I plan on keeping it a lot more basic, I don't really feel like dicking around with an engine swap or anything extreme. I just want something to bag and body drop that can be daily driven.

Ideally I want a D50 but those are pretty hard to find in decent condition around here.

Since they're a such a simple suspension setup and they're pretty easy to find for under $1000, I'd say a square body s10 is most likely though.

the square body s10's are nice trucks. if i wasnt in university i'd be working on one of those. but university = no time for anything elseCry

bmxzach will be with you on the square body S-10 for sure. his seems to be slowly consuming his life and money. lol
