Heard there was a landslide on one of the ski runs. Any trails effected?
saw this on Facebook
nooooooooo the groooove lol was there on the weekend and rain was insane, its crazy how the land could slide when its such a flat hill am i right?!?!?!?!?!?!?
That's gnarly, and north of silverbullet so we're good
Pretty sure that's the beginner area at south. I'd be more worried about other landslides in the woods in terms of bike trail impact.
Just to clarify, this slide occurred on the Legacy ski trail, which is North of the Gondola just above the Village Beginner Area. No bike trails have been impacted.
Second the question. There was a lot of rain yesterday...but its been sunny since?
Usually after this much rain they only ever have groove/gulch open if that. The hills will need a couple days of sun and some wind to help dry the trails out.

Spoke with the Manager of Trail Crew and Patrol. We'll be closed today, but it looks like we should be able to get something open tomorrow... as long as no more rain comes through. Portions of some the trails are dry enough to ride, but the main issue right now is that there are just as many portions that are really wet, really slick and really vulnerable.
