so the site i use to get videos onto my hard drive from youtube now has some crappy program thing to use and not for mac. then all the other sites are links to pay for stuff or just don't work

anyone have any luck with downloading YT clips recently and if so on what sites

www.filsh.net is great for downloading YouTube videos (does other websites too) and you don't have to actually download anything.

Now that steam is on mac they have some function, but they suck at everything else.

Pretty much all of the programs I use are not mac compatible. I also like to keep my money in my pocket.

but unix is neither linux nor windows.
oh and the macs have good hardware, i dont like mac OSX though, open source FTW!

on topic: jdownloader is a download manager available for macs that can download from youtube and a heck of a lot of 1 click hosters (rapidshare like webpages) if your into this. but its quite big and takes up lots of resources.
