Me and my mate have the excact same frame, both bought for the 2010 season.

And although so far they have only seen a few months use, and despite being mantained to the highest standards both frames have developed play both horizontally and verticaly at the top shock mount (vivid 5.1)

The vertical movement is only noticable by feel and sound as it is very minor, but the horizontal movement is fairly noticable:

Why have they developed this so soon? or is this pretty usual?

Glorys go through bushings even faster. Like, ridiculously fast.

Replace yo DU bush, or get a needle bearing for it, itll work nicer anyway that way

Errr im gonna get needle bearings for my vivid this month, get the bearings from BETD, any shop should be able to get a Du bush, but if you get rollers, you will have like, no stiction.

just buy yourself a few sets of du bushings and replace them, or needle bearings if youre loaded (this is probably the best option)

i have no idea how durable needle bearings are though, im planning to pick some up for my ride but i cant find anywhere except enduroforkseals and buying from america is long and boring
