Alright, i got this idea for a game. If its been done, sorry. I'd like to keep the comments minimal, so if you have any questions, pm or noteboard me.

HOW TO PLAY:
There will be a task in which you need to complete, which is taking a specific photo. To win, our 3 judges will work together to establish the best photo. Every 3 days(72 hours), the owner of the winning photo will be announced and i will set a new photo topic. If you would like to play but do not like taking pictures, simply click the subscribe button at the top of the page and go here to see all the pictures.

RULES:
-Try to use original ideas
-No inappropriate material. You know what i mean.
-If you have comments/questions regarding specific photos, post on the photo only.
-Spammers will be removed from the thread.
-The same user can not win twice in a row. Second place winner will win if that situation occurs
-Minimal editing only, such as curves, cropping or b&w conversion. Highly processed photos will not be entered.
-Most important rule... Have Fun!


HOW TO POST ENTRIES:
Step 1- Check in on this thread or the first post to see what the current task is
Step 2- Go take a photo!
Step 3- Import the photo to your computer. editing is allowed, but only for enhancing colours and lighting.
Step 4- Upload the photo to pinkbike under the "Bike Drawings/Art" category (WILL NOT WORK OTHERWISE)
Step 5- When the upload is complete, you will see a page where you can edit the info on the picture such as Rider, Trail, Description, Etc. To have your photo added to the contest gallery, you MUST make your "trail" field say "photo-group-contest1".
Step 6- Under the "description" field, enter the date and the task name, followed by any additional info you wish to put.
Step 7- Post your photo into this thread, including a statement of which task your photo is for.


I will try and edit this post with each winner. Everyone is welcome, but try to be creative. Low quality photos will be deleted and you will be banned from the thread. (Cell phone pics, out of focus grainy crap, etc)

Zach I'm in for this, but one thing that I didn't see in the rules which I think needs to be cleared up before everyone starts throwing suggestions about, Once this 'writing utensil' contest is done, how do we choose the next one? Does the winner of this comp choose the next one?

there are directions in the first post. you can edit the photo properties to change the category etc. change your trail field to photo-group-contest1 good luck!
